As the integration of Sunshine Health and Staywell Health Plan is being completed, we are pleased to announce that American Therapy Administrators of Florida (ATA-FL) has been selected for the management of free-standing facility physical, speech and occupational therapy services for certain members. ATA-FL will be the contracted vendor for Medicaid, Child Welfare and Serious Mental Illness (SMI) Specialty Plan members ages 3 and above, effective Oct. 1, 2021.
Free-standing facility therapy services for Long-Term Care, Medicare and Children’s Medical Services (CMS) will continue to operate as they do today. The following members and services will also be excluded from ATA-FL’s delivery of services:
- Members ages 0-2
- Early Intervention Services (EIS)
- Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) locations
- Outpatient (Hospital)
The webinar will cover a variety of topics such as status updates on implementation and information that providers need to know for each specialty plan.
